Privacy Policy
This page explains what NovaPath collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the NovaPath website and Second Brain, a Google-connected app NovaPath runs for its own work.
Second Brain (Google sign-in)
Second Brain is a personal dashboard that runs on a NovaPath team member’s own computer. It connects to Google through a Google Cloud project named “Second Brain.” When you sign in with Google, it asks for two read-only permissions:
- Google Calendar, read only (
calendar.readonly). Second Brain reads event titles and start and end times to show the day’s schedule. - Gmail, read only (
gmail.readonly). Second Brain reads the sender, subject and date of messages to show what needs attention. It does not read message bodies or attachments.
Second Brain cannot send email, delete email, or change your calendar.
Where that data goes
The data stays on the computer running Second Brain. NovaPath does not upload it to a server, sell it, share it, or send it to third parties. NovaPath does not use it for advertising or to train AI models. Google sign-in tokens are stored on that same computer so the app can stay connected.
Removing access
You can remove Second Brain’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After that it can no longer read your calendar or email. To ask us to delete anything Second Brain has stored, email accounts@explorenovapath.com.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Second Brain’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The NovaPath website
Forms you fill in
When you send an inquiry, we collect what you type: usually your name, email, role, organization and a note about what you need. We save it in our database and email it to the NovaPath team so we can reply. We use it only to answer you and follow up on that conversation.
Booking a call
Booking links open Calendly. Calendly collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy, and shares the booking with us.
Analytics
Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics stay off unless you choose “Allow analytics.” If you allow them, they record page visits and actions such as a sent inquiry. They never receive your form answers. We also turn analytics off when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Details are on the analytics privacy page.
AI guides
Some pages offer an AI guide. Messages you type there are sent to an AI provider to write a reply, and are not saved by NovaPath. The guide privacy page explains this in full.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard request logs such as IP address and time of visit.
What we never do
NovaPath does not sell personal information. We share it only with the services named on this page, and only to run the site or answer you.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
